CURB IDLE SPEED AWUSTMENT
1.
Have the engine at operating temperature, (cooling fan cycles on and off). All lights and accessories are off. The transaxle is in park ("P") or
neutral. The parking brake is firmly applied.
2.
From behind the air cleaner turn SAS-1 (Fig. 1 or 2) to adjust the curb idle speed to the rpm shown in table A.
NOTE:
If the cooling fan starts up during the adjustment, wait until it stops before setting the speed.

A/C IDLE-UP RPM ADJUSTMENT FOR
CARS EQUIPPED WITH A/C

The Curb Idle Speed must be as specified in procedure A. (Preceding Page)
2.
Push the A/C switch "in" and move the blower switch to the high position.
