CENTER WARNING DISPLAY

GENERAL INFORMATION

OPERATION

Charge Warning Light

This warning light illuminates when the ignition key is in the "ON" position, and goes off after the engine has started. This indicator comes on when the
drive belt breaks or there is a malfunction in the charging system.

Oil pressure Warning Light

This warning light illuminates when the ignition key is in the "ON" position, and goes off after the engine is started and oil pressure rises above a
pre-determined value.

If oil pressure falls below the pre-determined value, the oil pressure switch contacts close signalling the Assist-ECU. The Assist-ECU sends a signal to
the instrument panel ECU via the SWS communications line and the instrument panel ECU switches the warning light on.
