Throttle Control Actuator: Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Applies to vehicles equipped with traction control only.
VACUUM ACTUATOR CHECK <Vehicles with TCL>
1. Remove the vacuum hose (green stripe) from the vacuum actuator and connect a hand vacuum pump to the vacuum actuator.
2. With the accelerator pedal depressed, check that the rod is pulled up and that vacuum is held when 27 kPa (3.9 psi) of vacuum is applied.
