Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection
With Traction Control

NOTE:  Applies to vehicles equipped with traction control only.

CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CHECK (Vehicles with TCL)

1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.

2. Check the continuity between the accelerator pedal position sensor connector side terminal 3 and terminal 4.
3. If out of specification, replace the accelerator pedal position sensor.

NOTE:  After replacement, the closed throttle position switch and accelerator pedal position switch should be adjusted. (Refer to accelerator pedal
position sensor adjustment.
