Hood: Adjustments

BOLTED PANEL FIT AND ADJUSTMENT

HOOD ADJUSTMENT

1. When the margin gap between the hood and body is not uniform, loosen the hood mounting bolt and move the hood longitudinally and laterally

until the margin gap is even.

2. When the hood and the body are not flush, turn the hood bumper to adjust the hood height.

3. When the hood and body are not properly aligned, when the hood is loose, or when unlocking and locking are difficult, check the setting of the

release cable. Loosen the hood latch fixing bolt and move the hood latch to adjust its engagement with the hood.

Hood mounting bolt tightening torque 12 Nm (9 ft.lb.)
