Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
Disassembly and Reassembly

DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY  

Service Points Of Disassembly 

<A> Removal Of Hub From Knuckle 
1. Attach the special tools to the knuckle and hub.
2. Secure the knuckle in a vice.

3. Tighten the nut of the special tool to remove the hub from the knuckle.

CAUTION:  Always use the special tool to remove the hub. Never strike the hub or knuckle with a hammer to separate them as the bearing
will be damaged.

<B> Wheel Bearing 

1. Crush the oil seal in two places so that the tabs of the special tool can be engaged on the wheel bearing inner race.
