Tachometer Inspection

1. Insert an engine speedometer probe in the connector from the harness side, and attach the engine speedometer.

NOTES:  For tachometer inspection, use of a fluxmeter-type engine speedometer is recommended. (Because a fluxmeter only needs to be clipped
to the high tension cable.)

2. Compare the readings of the engine speedometer and the tachometer at every engine speed, and check if the variations are within the standard

values.
Standard value:
