Closed Throttle Position Switch: Description and Operation

Idle Position Switch Circuit

Location 

It is located in the throttle position sensor, mounted on the throttle shaft.

Operation 

When the throttle valve is in the idle position, the throttle shaft rotates the switch, closing the idle position switch.
