PURPOSE
This bulletin provides repair procedures for Eclipse vehicles manufactured before December 1989, in which, the front headlining trim has warped due to
high heat conditions. There is a new replacement part and installation procedure to correct this condition.

INSTALLATION DETAILS

Using a plastic trim tool, detach the front pillar trim - the clip mounting areas and Velcro areas on the backside. Remove the front pillar trim.

Remove and discard the original front headlining trim and the metal clips used to secure it (Figure 2). The clips are not used with the new
trim.
The new headlining trim attaches differently than the original trim. Use the following installation procedure to install the new trim.
