PURPOSE
If YOU encounter a 1990 Eclipse vehicle that has a sunroof wind noise or air leak condition, that you cannot eliminate through proper adjustment,
replacing the sunroof weatherstrip with a newly designed weatherstrip may reduce the noise or air leak.

1990 model year Eclipse vehicles with factory equipped sunroofs.

WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT

From inside the car, open the sunroof latch. Disconnect the latch lever from the body side latch by pressing the left and right arms together (Figure
1).
2.
Squeeze the security tether together and disconnect it from the hook (Figure 2).
