The rotor can be indexed to multiple positions. See Figure 4.

NOTE:

The wheel nuts must be installed and torqued to specs each time the rotor is indexed!

After each indexing of the rotor on its hub, measure the run-out with a dial indicator (Figure 5). If run-out is within specifications, replace the brake pads
as described below. If run-out exceeds specifications in all positions, replace the hub before replacing the brake pads.

HUB REPLACEMENT

Replace the hub as described in the Service Manual - but only if rotor run-out exceeds specifications.
