Adjust cable (accelerator pedal side) as follows:
a. Loosen cable locknut.
b. Adjust inner cable deflection to 0-.04 inch on models with manual transaxle or .08-.12 inch on models with automatic transaxle, then tighten

adjusting bolt Fig. 45, or locknut Fig. 46. Use caution not to decrease play in cable B (throttle valve side).

c. Ensure throttle lever moves the distance shown in Fig. 47.
f.

Ensure throttle valve fully opens and closes when operating accelerator pedal.

g. Install air cleaner.
