Apply a strip of ribbon sealer completely around the perimeter of the windshield opening.
Figure 9 shows a cross section of the vehicle and the location of the ribbon sealer on the body flange.

Cut the nozzle tip of the 3M Super Fast Urethane Auto Glass Sealant into a V shape. For the correct size and shape of the nozzle tip refer to Figure
10
5.
Using an adhesive application gun, apply 3M Super Fast Urethane Auto Glass Sealant (#8609 or equivalent) along the outside of the ribbon sealer
(Figure 11).
NOTE:
The adhesive material begins to cure after fifteen minutes when exposed to air.
