BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On affected vehicles, the front edge of the headliner may pull away from the windshield, causing a sagging appearance. This Technical Service Bulletin
contains the repair procedure for installing hook-and-loop fasteners to eliminate headliner sag.

PROCEDURE
The following materials are required for this procedure:

3M ATD 8608 Primer or equivalent

3M 6484 Dual-Lock (1" wide) or equivalent - Use the fine side only
^
3M 6481 Hook-and-Loop (1/2" wide) or equivalent - Use the loop (fuzzy) side only
1.
Place a towel or other protective cover on the dash.
2.
Remove right and left sunvisors and sunvisor clips.
3.
Remove the sunroof switch plate.
4.
Apply 3M ATD 8608 primer or equivalent along the inside front edge of the headliner. Use care to prevent staining the outside of the headliner.
Allow the primer to dry for approximately ten minutes.

Dual-Lock preparation and installation:
a.
Cut seven 4" strips of the 3M 6484 Dual-Lock (fine side only).
b.
Cut each strip in half lengthwise, making each strip 1/2" X 4"
