Fill out the "Authorized Modifications" label using a ball point pen. Enter the replacement PCM part number, this Recall Bulletin number
(EMR-99-001), your dealer code, and the current date on the "Authorized Modifications" labels for the engine compartment and.
NOTE:
You should have a supply of these labels. These labels come on a sheet along with the Authorized Software Modifications control module
label. A quantity of these labels were sent to each dealership along with the Reprogramming Unit Kit. If you need more of these labels, order
part number MSSF-023G-00A.

Remove all dirt and oil from a vacant area under the hood near the VECI label and affix the larger modifications label to the underhood area. On
vehicles which you have reprogrammed the PCM, refer to the Reprogramming the PCM section, step 8 for control module software modification
label instructions.

Choose the appropriate VECI label (Federal or California) from the Emission Recall Kit and install on the underside of the hood. Clean the surface
of the existing label, and apply the new label directly over it, covering the original label.
F. Proof of Correction Form (For California Vehicles Only)

For vehicles involved in this recall registered in the State of California only, complete a Vehicle Emission Recall Proof of Correction Form and
supply it to the vehicle owner.
NOTE:
A packet of 50 California DMV Vehicle Emission Recall Proof of Correction forms is included with this bulletin for all California dealers.
Keep these forms for any future Emissions Recalls. DO NOT photocopy these forms. The form must be on the approved appropriate color
paper or it will not be accepted by the California DMV.

A small supply of the Emissions Recall Kit and the Fuel Pressure Regulator will be allocated to dealers in areas where affected vehicles were sold.
Additional orders for these parts and orders for PCMs, if required, can be placed through the normal parts ordering system.
