Power Steering Pressure Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION

This contact type switch detects the power steering load. If the power steering pump increases the pressure as the steering system is operated, the 
power steering pressure switch inputs an ON signal to engine control module. According to this signal the engine control module adjusts the idle to
prevent the power steering load from slowing it too much.
