Remove the cover by applying a thick coat of multi-purpose grease to its center (rubber) portion in contact with the steering shaft. Slide the cover
over the shaft joint in the direction of the arrows (Figure 3).

4. Assemble in reverse order, with the exception of the bearing. Assembly of the bearing is shown on page 37-20, step 4, of the 1990 and 1991 Eclipse
