Eclipse L4-1997cc 2.0L DOHC Turbo 16 Valve (1996)
REMOVAL
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Refer to the illustration for the service procedures, noting the following:
3. Use the oxygen sensor wrench tool No. MD998770, or equivalent, when removing the oxygen sensor.
4. Remove the turbocharger assembly with the exhaust fitting, water pipe assembly (A), water pipe assembly (B) and the oil pipe assembly attached
to it.
5. After disconnecting the oil pipe, take care that foreign material does not enter the oil passage hole of the turbocharger assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean the alignment surfaces of the turbocharger assembly shown in the illustration. Supply clean engine oil through the oil pipe installation hole
of the turbocharger assembly.
