Fig. 49 Torsion Axle & Arm Assembly Replacement
1. Remove torsion axle and arm assembly in numbered sequence as shown, Fig. 49, noting the following:
a. Remove caliper assembly and support to frame using suitable wire.
b. Remove rear hub as outlined under Wheel Hub.
c. Raise and support torsion axle and arm assembly.
d. Remove shock absorber and trailing arm mounting bolts.
e. Lower torsion axle and arm assembly slowly, then remove from vehicle.
