A/C REFRIGERANT PIPE REPLACEMENT
PURPOSE
This bulletin contains information concerning A/C receiver outlet pipe replacement. The A/C pipe originally installed on most affected vehicles differs
from the part supplied as a service replacement.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The A/C pipe assembly installed on the affected vehicles can have a different configuration than the parts supplied as a replacement. The longer pipe of
the two-pipe assembly may be a single piece on the production vehicle. The routing of the pipe would make it difficult to remove and replace as a
one-piece unit. The service replacement part is supplied in two pieces. The original longer pipe must be cut for removal.

2000-04 Eclipse 3.0L V6 (All)
2001-04 Eclipse Spyder 3.0L V6 (All)
PROCEDURE
The original A/C pipe must be cut for removal. See the illustration.
