Eclipse V6-3.0L SOHC (2003)
1. Remove the airbag module (Refer to Air Bag Module and Clock Spring).
2. Check the continuity by operating the remote controlled radio switch (RH) in each position.
Q: Is the remote controlled radio switch normal?
YES: Go to Step 2.
NO: Replace the remote controlled radio switch (RH).
STEP 2. Check the switch (RH) connector C-97 and clock spring connector C-96 for damage.
Q: Is remote controlled radio switch (RH) connector C-97 and clock spring connector C-96 in good condition?
YES: Go to Step 3.
NO: Repair or replace it. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. The remote controlled radio switch (RH) should work normally.
STEP 3. Check the wiring harness between remote controlled radio switch connector C-97 (terminals 1 and 2) and clock spring connector C-96
(terminals 4 and 5).
