Removal and Installation

Master Cylinder And Brake Booster

1. Drain brake fluid and move the clutch fluid reservoir bracket (M/T).
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the relay assembly mounting bolts.
4. Remove the washer tank mounting bolts.   
5. Remove the brake pipe connection.
6. Remove the master cylinder assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

Bleed hydraulic system. Refer to "Bleeding Brake System."

Ensure proper adjustment/clearance between brake booster push rod and primary piston. See: Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake
