Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Service and Repair
With Antilock Brakes (ABS)

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Proportioning Valve Assembly

1. Drain the brake fluid.
2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to "Engine."
3. Disconnect the brake pipes.
4. Remove the proportioning valve.

Brake Pipe Connection

-

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following order that the brake pipes should be installed:
1. LH rear
2. RH rear
3. Hydraulic unit
4. Hydraulic unit

Bleed air from the hydraulic system.
