need to be reground to prevent seal damage when the valve is installed.
8. Check the valve spring installed height "B" after refacing the valve and seat. Make sure measurements are taken from the top of spring seat to the
bottom surface of spring retainer. If the height is greater than 38.00 mm (1.496 inch), install a 0.762 mm (0.030 inch) spacer in the head
counterbore under the valve spring seat to bring spring height back within specification.
