With the slider and guide now out of the vehicle, insert the slider onto the guide and check to see if there is any looseness or play. If the gap in the
slider nylon clip is too large, the slider will not fit firmly onto the guide. If the gap is too large, compress the slider bracket around the nylon clip to
eliminate any play or looseness between the slider and the guide. The slider should not have any play, but also should not drag as it moves along
the guide.

Apply grease (wheel bearing type grease) to the front glass guide.

NOTE: 

Be very careful that no grease gets on the window pad as this can cause streaking on the window.

Reinstall the glass guide. Pay close attention to your match marks to assure the guide is in the proper position.

9.

Reinstall the front glass guide slider onto the slider stud mount on the glass. Make sure the nut is tight.
