NOTE: The sealant should be applied in a continuous bead approximately 4 mm (0.2 inch) in diameter.
CAUTION: After installing the oil pan, wait at least one hour before starting the engine.
4. Assemble the oil pan to the cylinder block within 15 minutes after applying the sealant. Be careful when installing the oil pan. The bolts
indicated in the illustration have different lengths from the other bolts.

Install the drain plug gasket in the direction shown in the illustration.
INSPECTION

Check the oil pan for cracks.

Check the oil pan sealant-coated surface for damage and deformation.
