Antenna Motor Check

Motor Antenna Inspection

1. Remove the radio with cassette player.
2. Disconnect the motor antenna control module connector and check that the antenna goes up when the positive battery terminal is connected to

terminal (1) and the negative battery terminal is connected to terminal (4), and check that it goes down when the connections are reversed.

1. Remove the radio with cassette player. 
2. Remove the motor antenna control unit mounting bolt.
3. With the ignition switch turned to ACC or ON, operate the radio switch and check the voltage between the terminals while the antenna is being

raised and lowered.
