DOOR REGULATOR RATTLE
PURPOSE
Some customers have experienced a rattle in the door when playing the radio at high volume and/or high bass settings. The noise may be caused by
vibration between the window regulator mounting bracket and the door inner panel. This noise can occur in either door and can be corrected by installing
a washer along with a new longer bolt on the top rear of the mounting bracket.

PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the door trim panel. Refer to the instructions in Service Manual, Volume 1, page 42-41.
2.
Peel back the waterproof film, exposing the top rear portion of the window regulator bracket.
3.
Referring to the diagram, remove the top rear window regulator bolt from the door (passenger door shown).
4.
Insert the 2.3 mm thick washer between the regulator mounting bracket and door inner panel.
5.
Install the new 14 mm long bolt into the mounting hole in the door inner panel, through the washer, and into the mounting bracket. Tighten the bolt
securely.
6.
Reattach the waterproof film and install the door trim panel.
