Cut the washer hose again about 13 mm (1/2 in.) from the first cut. Discard the 1/2 in. length of hose.

Install the new black and gray check valve with the arrow on the valve pointed toward the nozzle.

Remove the passenger side door scuff plate. Lift the carpet edge to access the washer fluid hose.

3.

Remove and discard the check valve(s) from the washer fluid hose. There may be one or two check valves. If there are two, remove and discard
both valves.

4.

Install a straight-through joint (listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin) in place of the removed check valve(s). If two check
valves were removed, install two joints.

5.

Activate the windshield washer and verify that the system operates properly. When the washer is turned off, verify that the nozzles do not leak.

6.

Reinstall the scuff plate.
