Super Screen to verify whether the vehicle is an affected VIN for this recall campaign.
PROCEDURE
CAUTION
This repair involves engine components that are hot during operation. DO NOT proceed with these procedures until engine components are cooled to
ambient temperature.
1.
Pull up and lift out the coolant reservoir bottle then move it to the side and out of the way. Leave the hoses connected.
2.
Remove the bolt securing the crankshaft position sensor/bracket assembly.
3. As shown in the illustration, cut and remove the harness clip on the sensor bracket.
CAUTION
BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE HARNESS.
