OIL FILTER INSTALLATION
Oil Filter Installation - Eclipse, Galant, Endeavor models equipped with 3.8L V6. Due to the small clearance between the oil filter and alternator belt,
incorrect filter installation/removal could result in damage to the belt. If the oil filter guard is bent, its sharp edges may contact the belt. After installing
the oil filter, start the engine and listen for an alternator belt noise. Adjust the oil filter guard as necessary to eliminate contact with the belt.
