^ The painted dot on the hose should be positioned toward the canister.
^ Be sure the hose completely covers the unpainted area of the pipe as shown.
NOTE:
Isopropyl alcohol can be used as a lubricant during hose installation.
11. Attach the speed sensor harness.
12. Reinstall the wheel well splash shield.
13. Install the new plastic fuel filler pipe protector and clips provided in the kit. For optimum fit, install the top portion of the protector first.
14. Adjust the protector to prevent intrusion of road debris, with minimal gap between the protector and body, To achieve the correct fit, push both clips
very hard as shown until the protector bends and fits to the shape of the body.
