2. Apply masking tape around the fuel filler pipe opening to protect the paint. Insert a clean rag into the pipe opening to prevent entry of foreign
material.

3. Raise the vehicle on a lift.

4. Remove the left rear wheel and tire assembly.

5. Remove the plastic fuel filler pipe protector and the wheel splash shield in the left rear wheel well. Use care to prevent deforming the bracket during
removal.

6. Move the clips for the canister vapor hose to the center of the hose. Split the hose and remove it.
