Endeavor V6-3.8L SOHC (2004)
PROCEDURE - Refer to the flowchart shown above.
1. If the customer complains of fuel odor, but the MIL is NOT on:
a. To allow fuel filler pipe protector removal, remove the canister vapor hose.
b. Remove the 3 bolts securing the metal fuel filler pipe protector. Inspect the pipe for perforation.

If the fuel filler pipe is perforated, replace the pipe. refer to Group 13B in the service manual. Be sure to clean any and debris from the inside the
protector, to clear the drain hole.
