3. Remove the temperature and mode control knobs by gently pulling on  hem. Remove the nut (11 mm) and washer behind each knob.

4. Remove the five #10 Torx screws (circled) on the back cover of the HVAC controller. Using a small thin screw driver unlock the two tabs on each end
of the controller base and remove the back cover.

NOTE:

All screws used to to assemble the component are the same.

5. Remove the two screws (circled) securing the green circuit board to the base. Lift the board and back cover clear of the remaining assembly.

6. Remove the two screws (circled) from the white assembly.
