5. Measure hub torque with pad removed to aid in measuring brake drag torque after pad installation, Fig. 3.
6. Install pad clips, pad assemblies, inner shim(s) and anti-squeak shim onto the support mounting.
7. Apply a coating of suitable grease to the pad and anti-squeak shim contact surface and to the anti-squeak shim and inner shim contact surface. 

Ensure grease does not come in contact with brake pad assemble.

8. Lower caliper body into position, then install lower lockpin tightening to specification.
9. Check brake drag torque as follows:

a. Start engine and hold brake pedal down for five seconds.
b. Stop engine and turn brake rotor forward ten turns.
c. Check brake drag using suitable tool.
d. If the difference between brake drag torque and hub torque exceeds 3 ft. lbs., disassemble caliper assembly, clean and check for corrosion,

worn or damaged parts.

10. Install wheel.
