Water Pump: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system into an approved container.
3. Remove timing belts as outlined under Timing Belt.

4. Remove alternator brace, Fig. 51.
5. Remove water pump built and water pump.
6. Remove water pump gasket and O-ring.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
a. Coat O-ring with water to ease installation.
