3. Holding tensioner up, exert tension until tension side of belt is taut, then tighten tensioner bolt, Fig. 36. Do not allow tensioner pulley to rotate
when tightening bolt.

4. Apply finger pressure to center of belt's tension side and measure deflection, Fig. 37. Deflection should be 0.20-0.28 inch.

5. Install crankshaft flange, Fig. 38, then install crankshaft sprocket and pulley, and tighten crankshaft bolt to specifications.
