1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system into an approved container.
3. Remove timing belts as outlined under TIMING BELT ASSEMBLY and TIMING BELT "B".
4. Remove alternator brace, Fig. 33.
5. Remove water pump built and the water pump.
6. Remove water pump gasket and O-ring.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Coat O-ring with water to ease installation.
b. Install water pump bolts in correct location, Fig. 34.
