Fig. 10 Disassembling Evaporator Housing
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Discharge refrigerant system using approved equipment and procedures.
3. Remove evaporator housing assembly in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 9, pushing in center of joint duct clip for removal, Fig. 8.
4. Disassemble evaporator housing assembly in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 10, noting the following:
a. Remove housing clips using a suitable flat blade screwdriver.
b. Loosen expansion valve flare nut using two wrenches.
5. Reverse procedure to install, recharging refrigerant system.
