Fixed Idle Speed Adjusting Screw

1. Loosen the accelerator cable.
2. Loosen the Fixed SAS lock nut.
3. Turn the Fixed SAS in (counterclockwise) until the throttle valve is completely closed.
4. Turn the screw (clockwise) until it makes light contact with the throttle lever.
5. Turn the screw 1-1/4 turn further (clockwise).
6. While holding the Fixed SAS, so it doesn't move, tighten the lock nut securely.
7. Readjust the accelerator cable tension.
8. Recheck the CURB idle speed and adjust if necessary via the Standard Idle Speed Adjusting Screw.
