Throttle Full Close Switch: Description and Operation
Closed Throttle (Idle) Position Switch Circuit
The Closed Throttle Position Switch is a contact type switch and is used by the ECU to detect accelerator operation. The ECU uses the idle speed servo
to control idle speed, based on this signal.
The switch is an integral part of the throttle position sensor. When the throttle valve is in the idle position, the switch contacts should be closed.
