Adjusting Throttle Sensor
6. Loosen throttle position sensor mounting bolts and turn the sensor fully clockwise.
Adjusting Throttle Sensor
7. Check for continuity between terminals 1 and 2.
8. Turn the sensor counter clockwise until there is no continuity.
Tighten the sensor set screws securely.
Torque Spec
1.1 - 1.8 Ft lbs (1.5 - 2.5 Nm)
9. Reconnect the harness connector.
TPS Circuit
THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
1. Verify that the throttle cable has enough slack that it is not holding the throttle open in any way. Loosen the adjustment bolts for the throttle cable if
necessary.
