Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair
Column Switch
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove horn pad, then steering wheel attaching nut.
3.
On 1991 DOHC models, remove dynamic damper.
4.
Remove steering wheel using a suitable puller. Refer to procedure outlined under STEERING WHEEL.
5.
Remove knee protector, if equipped.
6.
Remove upper and lower column covers.
7.
Disconnect column switch electrical connectors.
8.
Remove column switch attaching screws, then the column switch from steering shaft.
9.
Reverse procedure to install.
