Wheel Bearing: Adjustments
Rear

With Drum Brakes

Using a suitable spring scale, ensure rear hub rotary sliding  torque is no more than 0.6 ft. lbs. when a new bearing is used or 0.5 ft. lbs. if an old bearing
is used with drum brake pads removed.

With Disc Brakes

Using a suitable spring scale, ensure rear hub rotary sliding  torque is no more than 1.3 ft. lbs. with brake caliper assembly removed.
