Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair
On some models, the radio fuse is located on the rear of the radio. If radio fuse is to be replaced it is necessary to remove the radio.
1.
Disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
3.
Pry off radio panel using a suitable tool.
4.
On models equipped with Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS), remove ECS indicator.
5.
On all models, remove radio bracket attaching screws, then disconnect antenna and radio electrical connector.
6.
Remove radio.
7.
Reverse procedure to install.
