SEPARATION OF INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD AROUND CLOCK OPENING AND ECS CONTROL PANEL OPENING
PURPOSE
The Galant Dash may exhibit a separation of the foam padding from the core base in the areas with an "X" shown. This can be corrected by using a quick
dry type glue to secure the foam to the core.
REPAIR PROCEDURE

Remove the clock or ECS control panel.

Glue the foam or film attached to the foam to the base as shown below.* Use 3M Quick Fix Adhesive (Cyanoacrylate) part #08155.
After applying the glue you will need to press against the pad for about 30 seconds until the glue sets.
Be careful so as not to get any glue on a visible part of the dash.
