PURPOSE
This bulletin describes the proper procedure to use to adjust the shift cables on KM200 series equipped 1989 vehicles. The instructions are identical to
those published in 1987 as STB-87-21-015 applicable to 1987 vehicles, and instructions used in the 1988 Service Manuals. As a reference to this
bulletin, please write the TSB number in the TSB Revision box at the bottom of the affected pages.

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
There are two cables to adjust - the select cable and the shift cable Adjustment is made at the gearshiftlever end of the cables with the front floor console,
gearshift knob, and boot removed. Turnbuckle-type adjusters are provided. See Figure 1.
