SHIFT CABLE ADJUSTMENT
1.
Inside the engine compartment, with the transmission select lever in the Neutral (vertical) position, move the shift lever into 4th gear
position (forward). See Fig. 5.

Inside the car disconnect the shift cable; then push the shift lever rearward until it touches the stop. Fig, 6.
