Install the cable eye retaining clip and turn the adjuster if necessary to equalize the distances A and B, Fig. 8, between the lever and
stops when shifted into 3rd and 4th speed positions.

Move the shift lever into all positions to make sure it shifts freely Then tighten the adjuster locknuts.
